Our Finca<\/strong> <\/span>is located in the village Benalmadena Pueblo<\/strong><\/span>. This village consists mainly of white houses, narrow and beautiful streets with cafes and stores.

These beautiful gardens of the Wall of Benalm\u00e1dena<\/strong><\/span> give a magical view of the Mediterranean Sea. On clear days (most of the year) you can see the spectacular Atlas Mountains<\/strong><\/span> of neighboring Morocco<\/strong><\/span> see.<\/p>\n

The first sight of the Castillo de Colomares immediately reminds you of a fairytale castle<\/strong><\/span> from the Efteling or Disneyland. This is because the castle consists of a colorful mix of Byzantine<\/strong><\/span>, Romanesque<\/strong><\/span>, Gothic<\/strong><\/span> and Mud\u00e9jar elements<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n

The castle was built by order of Dr. Esteban Mart\u00edn Mart\u00edn<\/strong><\/span> as an ode to the life of the great explorer and adventurer Christopher Columbus<\/strong><\/span>. Dr. Esteban Mart\u00edn Mart\u00edn has thought very carefully about the details of this extraordinary monument. Among other things, you can see 3 carved ships<\/strong><\/span> discover with which Columbus traveled to the Americas (Ni\u00f1a<\/strong><\/span>, Pinta<\/strong><\/span> and Santa Mar\u00eda<\/strong><\/span>).<\/p>\n

The entire plot covers an area<\/strong><\/span> of approximately 1500 m2<\/strong><\/span> making it at once the largest monument in the world in memory of Columbus<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n

And another unique record: inside the castle you will find the smallest church in the world (Guinness Book of Records)<\/strong><\/span>. This one has a area of only 1.96 m2<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n

At the central point of the old village of Benalm\u00e1dena stands a statue ‘La Ni\u00f1a de Benalm\u00e1dena’<\/strong><\/span>. She warmly welcomes all visitors and is a great starting point from which to discover what our village has to offer on a cultural and culinary level.<\/p>\n

The Costa consists of beautiful beaches (almost 9 km of well-maintained coastline)<\/strong><\/span> with plenty of eateries and stores along the promenade.
At sea is also the El Castillo El Bil-Bil<\/strong><\/span>. A beautiful, red castle built in Arabic style.<\/p>\n

The cable car of Benalm\u00e1dena<\/strong><\/span> has a length of 5565 meters<\/strong><\/span> and has been in operation since 2000<\/strong><\/span>. It connects Arroyo de la Miel<\/strong> <\/span>to one of the peaks of the Sierra de Mijas<\/strong><\/span> up to more than 700 meters above sea level<\/strong><\/span>. From here you have a beautiful view over the whole province and you can even see the African continent.<\/p>\n

Benalm\u00e1dena boasts a very beautiful park that covers about 200,000 m2<\/strong><\/span> in size and has several entrances. One of these entrances is a stone’s throw from the beach.<\/p>\n

Especially on weekends, the park is very popular because it is a large green area<\/strong><\/span> is with several hiking trails<\/strong><\/span>, an artificial lake<\/strong><\/span>, various animals including chickens<\/strong><\/span>, roosters<\/strong><\/span> and rabbits<\/strong><\/span>. There is also a small petting zoo with mountain goats<\/strong><\/span> visit.<\/p>\n

In addition to the local fauna and flora, there are of course more than enough food and beverage outlets, grassy areas and benches to relax for a while.<\/p>\n
